I just got hold of a 580exii to try, so here goes. I mount it, on my camera, a 550D, the external flash icon doesnt appear on my LCD. I remembered clearly it did appear when i tried my friend's 580exii. Turned the flash to TTL mode, pictures are overly exposed, and yes, the flash did fire and...

Jerrick, so do you prefer the B and W or Haida? Im looking to get either one and i'm learning to Haida as the price is lower and the results seem to be a little better. ;)
