Cheapest Nikon D300 Deal in Hong Kong ???

I just went to Hong Kong and bought a D300. Tin Cheung quoted $11,000. Stanley street is $10,800. There's a computer centre at Wan Chai and it's going for $10,600 there.

Buying Slide Film in New York

OT-OT I was quite fortunate as an amateur photographer to be given the chance to shoot professionally. The first shoot was a horror! Next issue should be better-June. Do mail in with your comments :)

    Remember the Singapore trades project?

Another old trade shut down. I recall this place as one of those suggested for photography. http://straitstimes.asia1.com.sg/singapore/story/0,4386,179006,00.html?

    portraiture of sorts

Wolfgang: yep. i agree on the loss of detail as well. I suppose after so much editing it's more feasible to view this as an image rather than a photograph. SniperD: Been buried under my work - dissertation on museums. Up to my neck in red tape for one project. Mainly shooting some museums...

    Penang Barber

hmmm... to paint a story through pictures. makes sense now I recall some national geographic articles, but it never does tell through photojournalism in newspapers, which I was thinking more of; but I suppose many a time we don't really see the body of works that don't get published. I'm just...

    Some Indian Shots

I have a differing opinion about the b/w & colour issue though, but perhaps its personal. I think the first two shots work better in colour - composition is a tad cluttered. The chaos/vibrance might speak better in colour as mentioned. The third works as a b/w for me because of the...

    Alpenglow!

Great stuff. I love nature photography when it's not simply a postcard shot. That's when the sense of otherliness comes in. I think it's medium-format if I'm not wrong. Anyone can identify the make?
