Hi all. I ended up getting the T-1005x. It has a good "premium" feel (vs the super-cheap $30 brands) and is compact enough - also easy to find in Singapore. Anything smaller can't support a DSLR. I didn't think carbon-fibre will help much this time also. Thanks for the posts!
