Suggest: LIST of places where film devp, scanning and printing is offered

Looking to develop B&W HP5, went to Ruby a few days ago, $6 a roll like what a few users said (takes 3 working days, so they outsource) and scanning takes 5 working days, contact sheet also provided along with CD. Price for scanning to CD alone is $12. Total $18. Decided not to scan in the...

need critique on vignette and lens flare

Agreed, it could be a nice black nad white -- if only there was less overexposure. B+Ws rely too much on tonal range for this to be a good one. I mean, I can imagine that you'd see a vast patch of plain white in the centre of the photo - not very interesting. (: And I feel that the first...

    first pic i post : )

Agree about the watermark. The photo also looks a little overexposed. And the white balance/levels...I presume it's there to highlight the 'water' theme? Otherwise a little warmer would be good. ((: Cool guys, btw.

could we use sunglass cloth to clean the mirror of Dslr?

Hello kitty sticker, haha =P Well you'll see a hello kitty outline in your viewfinder then, lol! As for now maybe there's not much damage, so no cause for worry, as long as you don't stick a screwdriver in there next time.

    Flowers of Keukenhof

Wow, very nice colours and DOF! (: Perhaps in some pictures you could show more of the flower stalk and not only the bloom/head?

could we use sunglass cloth to clean the mirror of Dslr?

Depends on where the scratch is, but most likely it will affect your photo - general rule is, don't go beyond the camera front cap. (: Also check your warranty, see if there's anything they can do. For cleaning, best to leave it to the service centre or professionals.

    Adobe Photoshop Element 6.0

I'm not very sure - my 5.0 came free with my camera though =P Personally I think the Element series is a very very good companion to photoshop - for on-the-go editing, very sufficient. I prefer it to photoshop sometimes. The 6.0 shouldn't disappoint. Perhaps they'd include a improved colour...

What to get after getting my first dslr

Getting the stuff is not as important as getting used to the camera. The stuff can always come later, after you know the camera well -- the accessories are just to give you new things to shoot, and new areas of photography to explore. Although I did buy UV filters for my lenses once I got my...

Close Up Filter +4... Here's what i got.. Part 2..

Great shots for only a +4 filter! The second white flower shot is a little OOF though -- or maybe it's just me ((: Yes, the last shot is nice, I like the composition especially. Although should have reduced the aperture for larger DOF - personal opinion.

2nd Singapore Young Photographer Award (SYPA) 2008

For mounting boards, the ones at Popular with black on one side and beige on the other -- something like solid but thin cardboard. Argh still cropping photos now, haha.
