tried it before. the result almost no difference. it only defuse a little and the light source is still small. on my camera, somehow the diffuser pulled the flash down a little, cause the flash unable to fire. have to push it up a little in order to shoot. my suggestion: just save your money...

You will have pleasant bokeh if using this lens with a Full Frame camera like D700 ......
