Personally, I like the red GF1 more than the other colours. I won't be surprised if there were people who waited for a red one rather then bought other available colours. But I think if you are asking people's opinion to validate your decision, then I guess you might not be entirely happy...

I am using the pandabase wideangle too. Without the macro attachment, it pretty much functions as a fisheye. I didn't buy the adaptor so it was US$35.

if its any help, I've been on the aftermarket jjc screw-on cap for a few weeks now and I think its not too bad for the ~$25 that it costed me. I have a pandabase wideangle as well so I do periodically screw on and off the lenscap to put on the tube adapter. So far so good. btw, I did not do...

I would actually prefer the leatherette with the layout of the Korean metal dressing thingy, that is, with the "Lumix" words and logo visible. The metal skin looks kinda tacky to me, but I can understand where its appeal would be.:)

yeah thats what i figured. i plan to keep the cirpol on the wideangle as a "permanent" setup for landscape, so it'll be good to know the size of the pandabase wideangle. if no one here on the pandabase wideangle has done that, i guess i could wait for the goods to arrive and then measure...

Hi, thanks for replying, just to clarify, I meant the filter on top of the wideangle.basically, 52mm adaptor+wide angle+filter. is that still 52mm?:dunno: Nice wide angle there btw.
