i never did own a pentax. but just my point of view. the k3 would seems to be a better choice, given the price tag. since i already own an olympus for a compact size. frankly if you wants to save your pocket. buy k3 and enjoy.

i am a fan of olympus, but recent release seems to be too overpriced. kept an ep3 just for the olympus color. but willing to give their a try.

olympus always made in china since the times of e3..... even the pro mft lenses also made in china. they even throw you the grip and battery. i think it is better than buying from CS marketplace.

it just that i am doing some night scene for an architecture project. it seems that having a moon in the scene is good but i used to have a hard time getting a good moon shot. with this i could capture people and trees from afar even a good composition horizon as background.

glad i met you to tighten my science knowledge. perhaps i thought i dun make myself a astrologyist there. but saw someone post blurry saturn (as he calls it). just using the hs10. i certainly dont need a forum to show off. but i need to improvemy skills. anyway i think my moon is good for me...

correct me if i m wrong. yeasterday i tried to take a photo of mars or jupitor. without a tripod (alsoout of focus) but already can slightly see the grains or texture of those planets. maybe by using a tcon 17 on top of this monster. we can take mars pictur very soon.
