Sorry if this sound silly. Is this lens suitable for talking photo without tripod? A bit concern if still able to use relative fast shuttle speed if set to f8

First time using their service. Brought down 8 files for 4R printing around lunch time. Had a short lunch and collected the photos. They turn out great! Even wifey is impressed. Big thumbs up!
