Useless one. Was talking to a Shawn from 313 Somerset. Bloody rude with zero customer service at all. Talk when you are still talking and simply hanged up the call after I said thank you. Then spoke to Arissa from Sony customer service. She is better but she is also clueless.

Just updated the app earlier as apple released an update. Same as before, no difference as in cannot be connected to the camera with the iPhone.

I really miss the Canon's ease with connection to the cam. :confused:

That sucks bro. I went to the Sony store and they had taken uo to 30mins to figure out how to link the iPhone to the HX99 to remote access.

Its working fine for me with the DSC-HX99. I just dunno why the app keeps asking me to connect to the camera and when I click ok, it always hang. Gotta cancel that and scan the QR code in order to connect to it.

Thanks for the review and feedback. Am using the G7x but prefer the HX-99 due to it's form factor. Just prefer Canon's touch screen and also ease to connect with the mobile devices.

Just bought this camera on Sunday. Any owners here?
