Thanks guys for the advice. I will definetly try both the workflows mentioned. The important point being "retaining Oly colors". I am used to directly importing the RAWs in lightroom , so I will tweak it a little. thanks.

Yes , its part of the meta data information for the image and its stored as "make" attribute. From RAW when you export and create the jpeg , you can choose not to include this.
