what would be the best way to cut out that hazy look? a polariser filter?

that's a little out of my league. maybe you would want to read up on the different types of filters first and see what you would need to start off. the basic ones would be UV, neutral density and polariser filters. Read up on what they can do and decide if you need them. as for pricing...

you can ask them to print a white border.

well.. filters can be used to get different effects. so in essence in can be fun. but serious photographers use filters to get certain results. take a look at the prices of the filters and you will realise it isn't really 'fun'.. :)

there are many filters u can use eg: - polariser filters to cut off glare from water and other shiny surfaces - neutral density filters to block a certain amount of light so that you can slow down the shutter speed or increase the aperture - skylight filter to give warmer colours - etc etc...

hi simon, do you normally do any image editing on the photos before printing or is it only upon the customers request? i'm wondering because most shops will edit the pictures without asking the customer first. thanks.

chinatown is also a little out of the way for me.. was hoping to go somewhere more in the east.. seems like all the cheap + good labs are in the east or in the north... where do the easterners go?? :D

oops.. my mistake.. its 20cents.. :) i believe they even advertise in the newspaper tht it's 20cents..

i know there is a shop in clementi that does it for 80 cents but that's seriously to far away for my current Simei location. Is there anyplace in the east or perhaps central area that does printing for about the same price. and does anyone have an comments on the quality of printing at that...

the shop is an office lot at albert complex. just make an order and the person will call u back. anyway you are not required to give any credit card info or anything of the sort on the website.
