Need advices on taking building shots

Hi There is a simpler and cheaper was to handle perspective distortion. Open the photo in Photoshop, go to the Crop Mode, Check the "Perspective" Check Box, and Crop the photo parallel to the sides of the building. After a few trials, you should get the correct crop. I have done it many...

    Hardware + Tables.

Hi espn You will need to check the maximum RAM that your computer's motherboard or chipset supports. For example, I am running an Intel 815 Chipset, which supports only upto 512 MB, no matter whether you use XP-Pro or XP-Home. Upto 2 GB should be a safe bet. Just my 2 cents... Deb

    Which photo printer to buy?

Thanks for the feedback. Initially I was thinking of buying iP3000, then realized the iP4000 has got one extra Photo-black cartridge, which should print the grey shades better. I think the 2-picoliter is quite okay for my purpose, of course 1-pico is better. Deb

    Which photo printer to buy?

Hi, Anyone can throw some light on: 1. Which is the best home printer that gives vivid print with quality closest to those from shops (and how close it is), for max A4 size. (and not too costly, of course) 2. How long these prints can last? Looking at Canon PIXMA iP4000 at the IT Show...

    D70 Shutter/Aperture Priority

I think the +/- sign bar appears only if you have applied a compensation. The D70 can hold the previous value in a particular mode. So if you have set the compensation in 'S' mode previously, next time you set 'S' mode it will show you the +/- sign. Most likely your 'A' mode is not having any...

Freeware to check Exif and Shutter Count!

Hi Guys I installed the iexif, and can see the shutter count for my D70 pics. But I noticed that it installed an unwanted ActiveX control which tried to change the settings of my browser. You will only know if you have a McAfee or similar software which warns you about suspiciuos...

    PS firework in CBD

Good Effect. However, if you do a bit of perspective correction to straighten the buildings on the right, would look even better. Just my 2 cents! Deb

    My Pick at MotorShow 2004

Thanks for the feedback. I look at my original pics, looks better on the monitor (maybe needs calibration). However, when I resize it for web, the pics become a bit dull, less sharp and slightly darker. Don't know why. Anyway, I'll try my best to do better next time. Particularly the eye...
