I have downloaded and installed camera raw 9.8, but I don't see it in photoshop or lightroom. It came in the form of an .exe file... In my photoshop, only v7.0 Camera Raw is enabled. Is there any additional step to add the plug-in into LR and PS after installation?

I made the mistake of setting the Camera to use PEF instead DNG thinking that native is better. TUrns out Lightroom and Photoshop does not support it. Does anyone know of a way to convert it to DNG? I am not interested in converting it to TIFF.
