Thanks Spidey. My compact does much better in video focusing. Guess you can't win all. Will try the saf with manual override for video. And avoid using epl1 for taking video of kids who are always on the move and in a confined space, the F1.7 is tricky to use. Any other advice appreciated.

All, I love my EPL1 with Lumix F1.7 20 mm lens. Problem is in video mode which the focus tends to hunt with moving subject with some lens noise creeping in. Should I use static or continuous focus for video ? Thks.
