These pics were resized from very large files. The original ones are give a touch of grain effect to achieve the intended effect. Not all things need to be noise free, different style different effects.

I like the softness created by the natural lighting. Very fine art portrait like. As for mono conversion and the techniques applied, it is very subjective and individual.
You may wish to enlarge it and frame it up. It would worth the effort.
