Thanks bro. I get what you mean about it being too casual looking. I actually had reservations about putting this up as a 'portrait' shoot. But I'll never learn if I don't just try. Thanks for the suggestions about more appropriate locations for a portrait shoot. Will try those in the future :)

Thanks for your comments guys! I shot it with a Fuji S6500. The flash does seem harsh, I noticed as soon as I looked at it but this is the best I can do after adjustments in PS. The hair is supposed to be messy... or is messy a no-no? I call it 'Lost' as the the scene on her left and right...
