I currently have a Lumix FX-36..was thinking of upgrading to a DSLR (possibly Nikon D3000) but out came the GF-1.
Should I get a GF-1 or Nikon D3000? The main reason why I wanna upgrade is due to better image quality..and the main thing attracting me to GF-1 is its size..but 1.2k is really...
Oh thanks for the clarification! I thought the LX3 is a Micro 4/3 because it keeps getting compared to the Olympus EP-1. I guess I'll just take LX3 out of my consideration since it's another compact.
And thanks for the recommendation to the D3000 and the price list. Will check out the cameras.
Hi,
I'm a student on a tight budget..and am looking to upgrade my current Lumix FX 36 to a more professional camera since I enjoy traveling and don't want to waste good photo-taking opportunities on a point-and-shoot..
I won't be looking to upgrade to powerful lenses at least for the next...
Thank you, you guys have been very helpful :)
I'm trying out ISO 100 (the lower the better?), and a shutter speed of 1 second.
Current camera is a Panasonic Lumix FX 36..I don't there I can change my aperture on a compact right? The Lumix allows me to adjust the exposure (the screen turns...
Hi guys,
Would like to know how the photographer managed to take the light trails in clubs so nicely? It's like the people are captured sharply with flash lights (which means the light trails won't be captured), but yet the light trails are soo nicely done as if the shutter speed is set to...
I'm looking for a relatively cheap camera (preferably below $500) and my main concerns are
IMAGE QUALITY
28mm
Right now my choices are Canon IXUS 70 and Ricoh R7. I need a 28mm because I'm heading over to Grand Canyon and I foresee myself taking a lot of scenery pics.
I know Ricoh is pretty...
Thanks! That's super helpful!
The 500gb harddisk drive is crazy..$179??? External or internal? If it's external I will kill myself for not going to it show..no money for it now also T_T need to buy camera.
Nah, I'll probably make a mess out of it.
I'm looking for shops that do this
But it's not a frame, it's just a cardboard. They will cut a square hole in the cardboard to put the photo in it so it looks presentable. :)
Where are the shop that offer mounting services (mounting a photo on a cardboard with a 'window cut') that are cheap and fast? Preferably one day..
Chong Hwa Arts & Frame Makers at Holland Village takes 3 days :sticktong ..I need something faster than that. Suggestions? Good to be in West area.
