I thought of getting a 2nd hand D2H body. And not much $$ left for a good lens. Was thinking of getting a D70 kit lens for the moment. Does it look silly? Like putting a Ferrari engine in a Suzuki body? Greatly appreciate any advice.:) John

After reading the story, I am so work up!!:mad2: You should have kept the pictures. Charge them by the pieces. Or ask them to hold another wedding dinner cum ROM. Imagine the photos that they have at the moment. You are smart to walk away.

I think not. From my experience, I have wasted thousands buying 'newbie' cameras and moving on to more 'serious' ones. If you have interest and do read up, then I think it is perfectly fine to get one 'high' end unit. It save you $$ from having to resell the equipment to move up. A good...
