hey,
thanks for reply.
ISO noise is quite important to me coz i love to take low lights photos without flash. So if it is better than 20D, i think its good enuff. Though the MarkII has at least 2-3 stops more...

Hey people,
Just wondering, do you all think its worth it to get a new 5D for A$1999 (abt S$2100)
Currently own a 20D, do any of you know how the 5D performs compare 20D in terms of noise at high ISO?
Always like to take wide angle pictures, and to buy a 10-??mm lens nowadays would cost...
thanks for the replies.
I think will send my 20D in to clean the sensor. As for shutter, i am on about 43000 counts at the moment, so still undecided if should change the shutter. $200 plus sounds a bit expensive.
What is the number of shutter count that is specified by Canon.
Thanks again
Hey all,
Do any of you have any idea how much it cost to change the shutter system of 20D at Canon Singapore?
Also how much does it cost to clean the sensor?
Also how long will it take to do all these, as i will be leaving for a holiday in a weeks time.
Last question, is the Canon...
From what i see, 400D is more than sufficient for you. Its has all the functions you would need as a new DSLR user. the $900 difference can be used for better lens.
cheers
i think you mean 10s instead of 10mins right? anyway did you use tripod for this shot? any shutter speed longer then 1/15s requires a tripod in imo. Unless you have very steady hands, and to hold for 10s, you would need robitic arms...
I would use the max resolutions in my cameras coz i would be able to do some cropping when needed and most importantly able to print at bigger sizes like 8R etc.
As i normally bring my laptop or X-Drive along, memory space is not a problem.
