Thanks for the reply... connecting to the computer is not the problem... the iphoto connects with the 20d seamlessly. it's getting to download the raw files that's the problem.

Thank you for your reply, in the end i took out the CF card and plug it into my Printer which has a built in card reader and it worked.... Still investigating on how to solve the connectivity problem.
