looks like the 24-120 have got the highest order, no stock until now. I heard 35mm 1.4 is due soon during photokina, equally interesting lens.

i agreed, i think the technique of handling the camera is more significant. still no samples images of those already got the lens :)

I am going to buy my D80 in Oct, can i get away with no software touch up with D80? I really do not want to spend time on post processing.

Perhaps thats one reason why I am not going to buy this 18-200 and instead a toki 12-24, nikon 50 1.8D and nikon 70-200 2.8 VR.

Thks Larren, Ortega. I m now considering to drop the 18-200 vr, Macro lens, and take the 70-200 vr 2.8 + canon 500D close up + TC1.4, and also the 50 2.8d and the Toki 12-24....too many options really. :)
