    Mirror Bumper question!

    Hi, Am very new to this forums and would like to ask a question ! I just replaced the light seals at the back for some of my old SLRs using knitting string and felt. Do you guys think it is wise to use the same felt to replace the foam for the mirror bumper? Thanks everyone for the help !
