I was thinking of moving to compact mirrorless camera but I might end up going back to DLSR. So for now, I am looking to replace my D80. Maybe D7100 is a good choice?

Which is more practical and value for money, the 90mm or 60mm? I am planning to buy a macro lens, but with limited budget. So I am looking to either of these two tamron macro lens. What is the current price for these two lens?

Yes, it can do macro but not 1:1. For macro function, 28-75 is better, since it has a longer range. It can do 1:3.9 (at 75mm) compared to 1:4.5 (at f=50mm MFD 0.27m) on 17-50. Below is the specs that I got from Tamron site, just for comparison: [AF28-75mm F/2.8 XR Di LD Aspherical (IF)]...

I think I will choose a greater telephoto reach. And since these two lens are identical optically, I might get the 28-75 then. The 28mm should be fine with me. Thanks man for sharing!
