Yes, size does matter... :-) I agree, the contrast AF on the EPL-1 does have a few drawbacks. Btw, do you have a VF-2 with your EPL-1, it does help a lot with the manual shots.

Have the MD Rokkor 50mm 1.4 with a m43 adapter on my EPL-1. A bit soft wide open, but it takes excellent pictures at this price point...
