Hmm...interesting thread. Just a couple of weeks ago, I was abit apprehensive about posting queries on nude photography. Finally decided to go ahead but explained myself clearly on the photographer's interest.
Guess it has to do with the individual's upbringing, the society he grows up in...
Hi guys,
thanks for the tips! More questions from me...
Believe this is one of the least ventured projects, so am quite happy someone has responded! :D
1. Lighting
- shooting's gonna be done at home. Spot lights (not those kinds that are installed in homes but those hand held ones...
Hi All,
I have a friend who wants to take pictures of a couple who wants photos in semi-nude/nude. We are talking about artistically done ones, of course! Wondering if you have any tips to share? :)
1. What kind of lighting is required?
2. What kind of film is required?
3. Any tips on...
Rainman, the last time my friend got a quote (only last week), it's about $600. We got the quotation from Cathay photo (as recommended by some folks here) ;)
Hi Rainman,
newbie me saw that ad too!! And was tempted. It's a real cool deal but folks here have recommended the F80 and Minolta Dynax 5. I'm now in quite a fix.
Maybe I should start off with my friend's F5 which he can loan to me. Hehhe.. :D
What's this MASP thingy? I've read briefly through the Minolta's specs but can't really grasp the meaning...yet.
Can the F75 or F80 be used as manual? Or is it fully auto? There're some cameras which "offer a choice" rite? or not?
Hi Joe
do you mean what do I want out of my camera? Hmm..lemme try to answer that..
It should be easy to use for a newbie like me. If possible, I hope it can take me a level after beginner's. (BTW, am attending my first intro to basic photography class this week) :)
I would like to...
:o
Cool it dude...I didn't mean it that way..I simply meant if it could be a better idea than to get a brand new camera cos photography idiots like me can be clumsy or find we dun really like the hobby after starting learning about it, that's all..
Oh yah...are 2nd hand cameras/equipment a better choice for newbies before they know more about photography and deciding which way they wanna progress? If so, is there a substantial difference in price? :D
Oh..but how will we know which one is good? Heard about hidden fungus and stuff...
Hi Avatar,
are bulk rolls the regular rolls with 24 or 36 exposures? What do u mean by rolling your own films?
BTW, if there's a need to change a roll of film 1/2-way thru...is it possible with the F75, 80 or the Minolta Dynax 5? :dunno:
Maybe I should call myself Clueless..Heheh...
Hmm...seems like the Minolta Dynax 5 is a highly recommended one huh!
And here I am thinking that Canon and Nikon are the hot faves.. ;p
<quote> It's shutter speed ranges from 30sec to 1/2000 in 1/2 steps. The F75 is built rather close to the F80 in feature/performance but it...
Oh I seeeee!!
Cameras come with a fixed range of shutter speeds rite? How do we go about selecting the speed? So can I say especially for "motion" piccies, we need to use smaller no too? Er...what's that f-point called?
Any assessment of the Nikon F75? Can it take other brands'...
