Did i not mention couple of weeks back that Nikon will be replacing the 5700 with the 8mp in March?!! No one believed me. Well its true. Will be out in the shops in March and be very competitively priced in Singapore. I was told the 5700 is going for even further price reductions come mid Feb.

Going back to the original question, the price of the Nikon at Allan Photo is $1380 with the freebies, its a good camera with out a doubt, but im sure the replacement will be at a higher cost, and may have to wait few months.
