I'm afraid you did overdo your HDR a little. I think I would love to see more of the Merlion's head as opposed to it's back. Just a suggestion - since this photo looks so much like a painting already because of it's colors, why not go all out and make it a painting? :)

Technical matters aside, I actually kinda like the composition of the photo. I wouldn't say the colors are that interesting but it does depict a lotus. I think if the technical aspects can be fixed, this photo is definitely a keeper. :D
