    HDB IR Shots II

I love this set. Although its a very common place to you since this is near your residence, it seems almost like a mythical dream world!

    Precious moment of life

Very tender shot. I really think the warmth of a mother's love is shown in this picture, and how the child seems so peaceful.

    Bada Terrace Field@YuanYang-Yunnan, @

This is stunning. I can't explain it, but it almost looks surreal the way the setting sun reflects from the fields and fog and creeps up into the stillness.

Life is Great, I am a Lama

Wow, Stan, the bokeh (out of focus blur) is so awesome in those pictures.

I've never seen Tibet before, and I want to thank you for showing me a part of it with your great photos!

    Potala Palace-

Wow, the first picture is interesting because the people are wearing black in contrast to the really lighter surroundings, as well as the foggy sky! I like the second one the most, water reflections are very pleasing for me. The ducks messed up the perfect reflection, but that's ok, i think...

    Former Soviet Union RF Users?

It's not bad. It's a gamble though... kind of like mail order brides or buying a car online without actually test driving it. They aren't -THAT' bad though!

    Chinatown early evening

Sorry, but the text detracts from the overall scheme of your photos. Leave interpretation to the viewers. The pictures may convey different meanings. As a photographer, it is recommended that you TAKE SHOTS of the meanings you wish to convey rather than blatantly advertising. Great pictures...

    Life is Great,Sunset@Yogya

Absolutely breathtaking. Both two pictures show a different perspective of the beach during sunset. I especially like that first shot with the silhouetted people. The second shot is great in showing the horse-drawn carriages, and I understand it was taken in an earlier time as the sun is more to...

    A shot, please.

Excellent shot! It's very interesting that he asked to be photographed but has an aware, yet intimidated or withdrawn emotion from his face. Rather than a typical smile and a pose which is typical of children who are aware of being photographed, this child decided to show a very real side of...

    Former Soviet Union RF Users?

If you need a CLA and minor repairs, send it to Oleg Khalyavin in Russia. Very reliable repairman and fixes them up like they were new! I sent a couple of my cameras to him and got it back within 2 months. http://www.okvintagecamera.com

    Super Heroes

Doesn't get too much of a dynamic feel. Feels like snapshots taken by some kid at an anime convention. If they were candids, it would be a lot more interesting, perhaps ultraman posing from another group of people from a little further away. Interesting choice in wideangle though, I liked that...

    Former Soviet Union RF Users?

Yeah, Zenitusergroup on yahoo groups is really helpful. Thanks for your reply. The only reason I like the Zorki 6 is because it's winding, and it's got a hinged back. The only thing I'll complain about is the lack of slow shutter speeds and 1/1000. I'm actually thinking of getting a Kiev 4A :)

    canonet repair

I had this problem before. Right after you film advance, rotate the aperturing constantly just to keep the stickyness off. And also, check www.rangefinderforum.com they are very friendly and would be glad to help you out! :)

    Former Soviet Union RF Users?

Yeah, that was the first thing I learned. EVERY COLLECTOR SITE HAD THAT!! Luckily my Zorki 6 is cool and doesn't require that, but after using the FSU collection for a while, I've learned to do that instinctively :) How does the Sverdlovsk 4 perform? I've been looking into one, but I got a...
