I feel IQ from P7000 is different with my LX3 and G11...color totally awesome..and look "more have dimensional"
and sharpness look more natural/not harsh than my LX3..off course it just my opinion :D
but coming from my hobby in pocket and prosumer class..this is the best "pocketable" system...
Coming from LX3 and G11 user..
Totally impressed with P7000, finally after a long time since nikon coolpix 995..nikon can compete in pocket/prosumer class :)
For IQ ..Control..Build quality, P7000 much much better than my LX3 and G11..The best IQ from Prosumer [draw with IQ from my trusty Fuji...
Main differences between the LX5 and the older LX3:

- LX5 wit 80 to 12800 ISO (the LX3 80 to 3200)
- It records in HD 60p (sensor output is 30p) AVCHDlite
- LX5 There will be also optional electronic and optical viewfinder...

agree..i think LX5 will built in EVF or OVF and free angle LCD..but the fact
not worthed to upgrade [at least for me ;) ]
but FZ100 look like more steep than FZ38..fz100 now have "hotshoe and LCD free angle" [dont know what it mean].. but add 2mpx from 12mp in fz38 to 14mp in FZ100...
for 1st pict i use raynox dcr-250..
no special setting..just use P mode..film mode nostalgic [contrast +1..NR-2..and the other setting set to zero]
use iso auto max 200 and ie set to standard..point..and shoot ;p
oh yes for 4th pict i think i use CPL filter..and i think it makes clarity even...
