Cool, compared to the Lens Exchange, would you recommend getting the Think Tank modular skin set over it?

Lets say I'm pairing up a wide angle lens for DX, (17-55 f/2.8 + 11-16 f/2.8) Or (12-24 f/4 + 24-70 f/2.8)? For all those who say 24-70 f/2.8 is simply not a good range for DX?

Is it worth it to buy it even when canon's version comes with IS and is priced much much cheaper? Was trying to say that it might be a little too overpriced? Of course it would be an ideal lens for DX, but its price range is way too much for what you are getting compared to lets say the canon...
