    super 8 film in singapore

FTS does not process 8mm. When you get the kodak 8mm stock, you can send it via mail to the states and they will do the processing for you. The other alternatives would be Melbourne and perhaps other parts of Aust. Kodak still sells it though I'm not sure if the Singapore office still stocks it...

Any place to find actors for free?

Want to know how the pros do it? Get business cards. Be professional and hit the streets and start auditioning hundreds. There's also AADB.com which has actors. But be prepared to pay. However there are actors who might be willing to do it for free if your script is good or just for the...

    2006-09-10.C & C welcome.

Ah I see. Well I don't think you need to take it out. In actual fact, why not push it some more? Then add a little color to the overall picture? Just a thought. Its a dreamy little scene, so perhaps can try pushing the boundaries a little more. You might like it. At the end of the day, you got...

    What's wrong with this picture?

I agree with Clockunder and Fword about the time of day and the lack of focus. My first impression when i look at the photo is... "Ok... now... what am I looking at. I see some house....a vending machine... etc" What Is the picture about? Oftentimes I find that photographers try to squeeze...

It distracts a little from the frame within a frame concept. Then again, I do feel that is subjective. But a...

Ah Steph C. She looks a whole lot better this round then when she first came to our fair shores (Basically, she has put on a little more weight now. She was so so skinny the last time). An excellent model and a good attempt at capturing her beauty. Nicely done.

    Photography as a profession

And of course over and above mastering the technicalities of photography, being able to conceptualise creatively and see the unseen a professional photographer has to have excellent and I mean excellent PR skills. From my observation of the pros out there who are constantly working (non-stop...

    Thinking of getting a rangefinder

Yeah the Epson R-D1S is a sweet sweet camera. I was playing around with my friend, Geoff's and it has an amazing analogue interface. An all round amazing rangefinder. Pity the cost though. http://www.flickr.com/photos/bluroom/229086289/
