    First time seeing a wild owl.

    This is a Buffy Fish Owl. Blakiston's Fish Owl can not be found in Singapore forest, as a matter of fact can not be found in South East Asia forest. Do get a bird guide, that will help you ID the bird correctly.

    No, you can find them all over Singapore, it is one of the more common bird in Singapore. When there is a fruiting tree, you will see them all over the tree.
