This is interesting. My 5DM2 was probably one of the 1st batch and the battery that came with it is similar to your pic (w/o serial number). Only difference is mine has the 4 alphabets below the polarity pins. It's has been working well after 1 yr 8 mths. Still retaining more than 90% charge...
