Hi, does anyone know how much the KR battery charger cost? Not looking for the ion battery charger, just the regular one that comes with the dslr. Tried searching the forum and googling but couldn't find anything much on the charger.

I just recently got my first DSLR, the KR. Although I went to SLRR to check out the camera, I was thinking of getting it second-hand, but could only find it in black. The price difference wasn't a lot, so I decided to just get a white one from SLRR. And I'm absolutely loving it. :)

Hi Zerocoolasia, actually the picture in the most recent post was taken by my sister. I experimented with self-portrait taking last night but didn't put any of those pictures up. But yes, I'm still trying to figure out the settings for taking a picture in the early morning. :)

I will try this as well. I've only started using the Pentax so I can't say I've explored all their options. Will look for this setting. :)

Oh..I was hoping to be able to master the kit lens first. What lens would you suggest that would suit my purposes? Just to keep in mind should I find myself really do needing a better lens.

If the picture didn't turn out blurry, it would definitely be better than my pns! :D I suppose I'll need to keep practising until I get the hang of the manual focusing.

If the background is plain, eg plain white, there wouldn't be anything to focus on, would there? Since you can't tell anyway if you have focused on anything or not. Sorry, DOF = ??
