Yes it does, but its 3rd party, not nikon. Nikon does not produce offical battery grip for D40 to D60.. I think it doesnt for d5000 too. The 3rd party operates on a Infra Red Sensor that you need to enable for the portrait shutter button to work. Ur setting on the camera needs to be changed...

Yup its safe. just dun go bring the highest end model like d3 to d300. i bought my backup body d60 over. kept it in my camera bag all the while when not in shooting mode. Put it back into the bag when not taking. Hahaha good thing about having a second body. Nikon will love this thread. 1...

Use to have that problem too with my sb900. carefully used not firing the flashes but it still heats up. best isolate the battery set as it could be a faulty battery problem. i solve it by changing the battery set in question and adding a additional battery pack. it will allow ur battery set...

Yeah agreed with you. if you watch discovery channel. the lighting will travel far into the earth and will crystallize the soil or sand into a fossil record of the lighting. Just like you see it in the sky, but fossilize in soil lol... so if you cut the merlion into two... u probably catch...
