thanks. had a few frens with me that day and they gave me some tips on how to capture the fireworks. Will try ur tips about removing the smoke. not really an expert in photoshop. :)

yes phelan, u r rite. I tried to adjust such that the pyramid top building in the center is vertical. but if u look closely, the top of the building is slanted and the waterfront is a V shaped. when zoomed out, Westin hotel looks tilted to the right on my cam.

there's no shutter release for this Fuji 6500. I used various exposure times from 4 to 15sec.
