It's lao sai tor teochew opera. i just realised i made a mistake in my heading. Yes, they were shot in B/W film and scanned onto a CD.

I have resize the images for a closer look. hope this works. As for the why it is shot in B/W, my personal choice as i want to capture a feeling of "lost". The warm of this set of images is in the subject itself, ppl that remain much devoted to the artform till today.
