My advice is keep your D3 for now. D3 is the coolest camera. I bring my D3 for travel as well. Bring it out more, eventually and you will be used to the weight and size. :sweat: Go rent a D700 and see whether you like it before taking the plunge.

Try mounting the handgrip MB-D10 it may help.

Yeah that's true. Well I am using it to strengthen my arms with it. ;) That is the only form of exercise for me nowadays. The D700 will be a good back-up camera for D3 users. Oh dear I am tempted by it. :dunno:
