    FUJI XF-1

What! I did not receive it. Good deal. But I read that some has aperture blades problem after a period of use. Sticky blades? Unable to decrease aperture size leading to overexposure? So need to be prepared mentally.

    Experiences with dry cabinets

Hi. I have been using Lock & Lock containers with Thirsty Hippo. Shopping for a small dry cabinet enough for 4 DSLR, 3 compact cameras, EFS 17-55, 50/1.4 and 17-85. Saw a brand at Challenger. Could anyone share their experiences with dry cabinets? Thank you.

First impressions of the Fujifilm X-S1

Hi, anyone know which shop still sells XS1 in Singapore? Quite cheap on Amazon taking into consideration shipping, taxes, GST etc but could not be exported to Singapore... Very addicted to the zoom and the EXR sensor, wanna grab hold of it before it becomes extinct!

    Superia Xtra400 Magenta Cast

Hi, bros and sis out there. Do u routinely overexposed your colour neg by 1-2 stops? I tend to get a magenta hue/cast with this film when there is a bright daylight source in the frame or when I overexposed. The Fuji 400H doesn't seem to have this problem.

Scanner Comparison: Epson V700 vs Canon Canoscan 9000F

There must be few people left shooting films, even less shooting slides. I bought a plustek scanner and is pleased with it. Resolution is as good as those I got from a $16 Noritsu scan. But i am still learning how to remove the magenta colour cast in some exposures. In darker areas, I am not...

Service center issue: Screen cracked in x100

You need to find out what time the technicians leave if you need to speak to them. They may leave around 5 or 6pm. (Experience from my previous visits).

Service center issue: Screen cracked in x100

Hi, it would be better to go down to the service centre and speak to the technician. At the same time you can check the camera. More secure this way. Better to see your camera rather than accepting the words over the phone. Hope your problem would be solved

    Film development

i see... Thanks. I search the older threads. I wonder if Parisilk still carries it. Thinking of V700, or a canoscan also. Currently using a Canon MG 8170 multipurpose inkjet printer/scanner. Need to sharpen in Lightroom 4 and adjust white balance manually. Sometimes film curves and not...

    Film development

How is KT colour and the lab in Adelphi? How is their film processing and scanning? Could PM me? Thanks. I do find a difference in films processed in different labs. One lab gave me grainy, contrasty results. Another lab less contrasty and no scratches. A bit time consuming to scan and...
