This is the nearest beach to Kota Bharu, the capital of Kelantan state, Malaysia. Once known as the Beach of Passionate Love, a conservative government has renamed it a mundane Moonlight Beach. And to combat years of shoreline erosion, the authorities have lined the beach with granite rocks...

This is a beach called Bukit Keluang in Terengganu, Malaysia. The boardwalk which was built since I was a kid is sadly now in a state of disrepair. In the distance is Perhentian Island.
