Is $300 for CS3 worth it?

You can get the upgrade version online for US$199 and the full suite for US$649. With the strong SGD, it is a lot cheaper than a year ago. The upgrade is cheaper than Funan so possibly the full suite is also cheaper.

How to shoot children in their motion ?

Btn D80 and D60, I chose the latter because of the weight. Very portable with the kit lens. D80 is significantly heavier and later on if you decide to add on heavier lenses and flash, it can become quite a burden especially since I'm a female photographer. So far, I find the D60a very good...

How to shoot children in their motion ?

Thanks for all the tips! Guess I'll have to weigh the options and get the lens most appropriate for my budget plus experiment with flash.

How to shoot children in their motion ?

shutter speed 1/30  Don't think that would be fast enough in another 2 mths time. But mine is a hyperactive boy. Was already squirming a lot when he was in my stomache. :sweatsm: Coming back to the lens. Thinking of getting the 55mm f/1.8 too. Its the cheapest way to get higher...

How to shoot children in their motion ?

Hehe, you are right. Doesn't make sense for me to get such high end lens for my simple needs. How about the AF55mm f/1.8D? Cheap cheap. Or the AF55mm f/1.4D which is about twice the price? Think I can live with the manual focus since these are fixed lenses.

How to shoot children in their motion ?

I'm a newbie and still experimenting with various setting. Have pushed up ISO to 1600 but can be quite grainy. Most of the time using A mode with maximum aperture at about 400-800 ISO for indoors. Yes, it is better in brightly lit environment. How about flash? I haven't tried with flash...

How to shoot children in their motion ?

Looking at this thread coz I'm also learning to shoot better pictures of my 8 mth old, hyperactive baby. Just bought the D60 and using the kit lens 18-55mm F3.5-5.6. So far can only get abt 10% focussed shots. Can anyone recommend me a more suitable lens for my purpose?

    Nikon 18-200 lens on D60

Hey, we are in the same situation. I'm also a lady user who just bought the Nikon D60 and planning to get the 18-200. I tried it out at the shop and it really does feel heavy. But guess there is not much choice unless you want to use 2 lens interchangeably.

    D60 twin lens offer

hey, seems like you haven't checked out the market here at all. You in Australia is it? D60 or 400D

Another Nikon supporter:cheers:. Good to know the advantages since I have bought the D60. Was considering the D80 especially now that it comes with the 18-200mm VR lens. But it is very heavy (I'm a female btw), especially with the 18-200 lens. Think my shoulder will ache from carrying around...

D60 Owners...what do you think of the camera and two lenses ?

Yes, that's exactly the price at the IT show. I bought camera kit only at other shop for $950. No free gifts. But added on a 2gb SD card, bag, UV filter, lens cleaner set and screen protector for an additional $90. The 50-200mm lens is worth buying if you are going to use it. Selling for...

    D60 - testing

Me too bought a D60 from Alan Photo. Cannot make it to IT show. Better go test for dead pixels before the 7 days.

    D60 or 400D

Canon always seems to be more value for money (feature for feature) but I spoke with several pros and they always recommend Nikon. Not sure if it is cult thing or for real reasons which as a newbie, I can't appreciate. I got the D60. Didn't even consider Canon. But I think the 450D has got...
