Hi, would like you guys to recommend any bags just to fit in my 5D MKIII with 24-70mm attached (maybe with grip and an extra battery and nothing else). I do not want a bag which is too big cos thinking of bringing it when i go out with my kids so a big bag is a no no... :smilie: Sling type...

Think using Black Rapid with original grip should be ok as we are talking about magnesium alloy grip. Don't think I will be buying 3rd party grip like pixel or chromage, which is made of plastic, too dangerous to take the risk of dropping my gears.

For info, for all Canon roadshow and exhibition will only have entry level only. For professional models (FF) you have to get from camera shop outside. So for those getting FF dun waste time going to shows cos there's nothing for you.

I wonder will the tripod screw of the grip give way as I'm using Black Rapid R3 with the following gears 24-70mm + 5D MK III + grip fully loaded. Wonder will that 1 screw support the whole weight as its not a single piece? Cannot afford if the whole thing come crashing on the floor. Anybody...

As currently my camera accepts both cards, I'm think of getting a CF to store raw and SD to store jpg (utilize both slots when using camera) as I'm also holding on to a iPad, I can conveniently insert the SD card to the iPad to extract the jpg photos for viewing and still have the CF to store...

Have ask Sandisk help desk the same questions and their reply is.... same if you're using the same transfer rate cards. So its more logical to get the cheaper type if your camera accept both types. Currently, I'm thinking of getting the Extreme SD to CF adapter which claims that it will not...

There is this SD to CF adapter, so by using a 95mb/s SD, will the speed of the SD be affected (lower) if were to use the CF adapter? He is talking about the Extreme SD to CF adapter... anybody tried it before? By the way, is there a way (software) to test the speed of the memory cards?

My camera is able to take these 2 type of cards. From what I can see the difference is the physical size and price... any other difference?? Please advice...

Hmm... thanks for all the advice. Maybe I'll just bring 16-35mm & 70-200mm as it's already about 3kg + body. Have to forgo the other 2 lens + flash + tripod.... Will collapse if i bring everything...
