I really don't know what's the problem but would advice that you do not store photos in your memory card for too long. Best transfer them to external hard disk and delete. After deletion of photos best you format your memory card before you use it again. Unless you use zero recovery software...

Sigma 10-20mm & Canon EFS 10-22mm cannot be used on FF camera. Sigma 12-24mm is designed for FF camera. I would suggest you get Sigma 12-24mm cost $1K plus while Canon L 16-35MK2 cost $2K plus. Read all the preview available before you decide which to buy.
