Tamaron 11/16 f/2.8 is a great piece of work- but, I suspect a shade above your proposed budget. Alok

Just got myself a sigma 30mm/1.4 Its a great lens, does terrific bokeh, silent, fast focus - not much of aberration. It DOES have a unique problem - In the live view mode, the lens refuses to focus. I have trolled several sites, and found that many people (approx 50% of the folks using...
