No doubt about that. However, Intel CPU and PPC are of very different architecture. One can't even compare their clock speed meaningfully. The reason for Apple to switch to Intel chip is more for viability rather than performance per se. (and this is not the very first time Apple switching...

These statements are not too far from being factual. But, did any developers claim that the intel chips are faster? quite on the contrary, there are worries among the apple developers that the latest gen of intel mobile chip (code name Yonah ?) might not be fast enough to run Tiger to Apple's...

Apparently there are some confusions between FSB of the CPU and the clock frequency of the RAM. They are related but NOT the same thing. allegro

Maybe I was not being clear enough: your MB does support RAM up to DDR400 (max, no OC involved. page 8 of your manual states: "Two 184 pin DIMM slots to supports up to 2GB of DDR200, DDR266, DDR333 and DDR400 compliant DDR SDRAM module. ") But, you can run at this speed only when ALL the RAM...
