I will be going down on the 8th. According to the program on the website, there is suppose to be fireworks at around 8pm. But due to work, maybe can only reach by 7+++ PM.. :o

Ya, was thinking of the same thing. If it starts at 8.30 tomorrow nite, then the fireworks will start lk ard 9-9.30 , assuming the parade start on time and it takes ard 45 mins for it to reac f1 pit. This is the game we have to play, the waiting game =) Cheers

According to the PUB website: Kallang Basin/ Marina Channel will be closed to all marine traffic from 1800hrs to 2300hrs on 11 and 12 Feb 2011 for the fireworks display. So i guess it will happen in between that time la.. Perhaps similar timing to the opening of river hongbao.. Between 7.30 to...

I believe the fireworks will still go on event if it is raining cats n dogs, but will there be anyone that will still standby/shoot in the rain ? Cos from the looks of it, more than 50% chance of rain later.. It is still drizzling here n windy too at CCK area.. :confused:
