i've the same sticky feeling too after holding onto it for some time maybe its due to my wet palm

i'm new to DSLR too. i choose kit2 which cost me $1584 frm SLRR last mnth let's start frm basic first since we are new.get another 50mm f1.8 too if possible

sorry for using your thread. am actually tot of getting one too. my plan is to get an EOS 500D kit. since i know nuts about DSLR,i need to dig more info from seniors and pros here before buying. what else do i need to start with? any good shop to recommend?
