Just collected my camera. Unfortunately, forgotten to bring battery and SD card, so unable to through test the camera. However, a quick test done at the Service Counter with Sony's battery, seem like the issue is solved. tried to move the lens while focusing, but the symptom no longer...

Not Yet. Been calling them for several days, finally today they confirm that it is really for collection. Don't know what part they changed, but hopefully they really did through testing to ensure that the issue has been resolved. Most probably going down to collect tomorrow...

Just got contacted by Sony. Camera waiting for parts to arrive. Tentative date for collection is 15March. seems like they are replacing parts for the Camera body, I've check with them. I'm fine with it as long as the issue got resolve with the parts changed.

I've just send my Nex6/SEL50mm in to Sony Care as well, with regards to this matter. tested this morning, it happens to my Sigma30mm also, so guess it might really be issue with the body. hope they can solve the issue.

I've encounter this with my Sigma 30mm. Sony 50mm F1.8 not too sure, but I think once as well. what I will do is to, release the lens & relock back. Guess it's due to the contact points. it's a bit annoying especially when u try to take a shot, but cannot becos it cannot focus...

Agree. Gotta 1 set from Click as well, together with my colleague, with 50mm F1.8. really nice shop, and service from Wan Leng. Hope that I can get use to this camera before my trip to KL.. :bsmilie:

on top of this, I'd recommend allocating AI Servo for the shortcut button, so that u can have access to it, jus by pressing the shortcut button.
