Hey guys.
I've used a Atomos Shogun to record FS700 footage in 4K.
But i couldnt import it into Premiere Pro CS5.5.

Any ways to get it to be 'compatible' with CS5.5?

Thanks :)

You're talking about MTS files right? It's been awhile since I used AVCHD, but I think CS5.5 is supposed to support it natively. From what I recall, you're supposed to retain the entire folder structure when you copy the files from the card/camera to your harddisk.

When you click on new sequence, do you see the AVCHD folder? Some people have encountered a bug which reverts their Ppro to trial mode somehow and AVCHD support is removed. https://forums.adobe.com/thread/955829

These comments refer specifically to CC 2014, but I think you can try them (see bolded text) as well:

Hi Michael,
Most of these problems are due to users not importing footage properly.
Copy the entire card and its file structure to your media drive.
Ingest the files via the Media Browser NOT via File > Import or by dragging the files into the Project panel.

Do NOT do the following if you have AVCHD footage:
Update the project file mid-way through your project.
Update the OS mid-way through the project.

If AVCHD files get red frames or go offline, do the following:
Change the name of the media files folder
Delete the Media Cache
Relink the clips in any existing sequences.

Thanks,
Kevin

Ohh, I see what you mean now. Dunno how I missed the mention of the Atomos Shogun in your post. Apologies, no experience with that.
