i was always under the impression that if i wanted to push film, say 400 to 1600, then i should set camera ISO to 1600. but was speaking to the uncle at ruby the other day, and he said set at 400. which is correct?

sure, the material may be sensitive.... but any discussion about moderation should be allowed to be aired imo... i dont see why the thread had to be locked. if you want to moderate, then you have to be prepared to face the questions that arise from your moderation.
